5E Advanced Materials, Inc. (Nasdaq: FEAM) (ASX: 5EA) is focused on becoming a vertically integrated global leader and supplier of BORON+ advanced materials, complemented by lithium co-product production. The Company’s mission is to become a supplier of these critical materials to industries addressing global decarbonization, food and domestic security. Boron and lithium products will target applications in the fields of electric transportation, clean energy infrastructure, such as solar and wind power, fertilizers, and domestic security. The business strategy and objectives are to develop capabilities ranging from upstream extraction and product sales of boric acid, lithium carbonate and potentially other co-products, to downstream boron advanced material processing and development. The business is based on our large domestic boron and lithium resource, which is located in Southern California and designated as Critical Infrastructure by the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.

As the company enters a new phase of growth, the most recent CEO has stepped down to pursue other interests and an Interim CEO is in place as we work through this process.  The company is looking for a new CEO to take the company forward on its next phase of growth with a focus on raising capital, commercializing the company products and services, and representing the company to investors and the public for the next several years.

The CEO will have a primary responsibility for managing the overall operations and resources of the company, acting as the main point of communication between the board of directors and corporate operations, and being the face of the company to the public and to the investors.

In addition to the overall success of the company, the CEO will be responsible for leading the development and execution of long-term strategies, with the goal of increasing shareholder value.  The CEO will provide the vision and set clear direction for the company, creating and communicating a compelling and inspired sense of core purpose.  As the face of the company to the public and the protector of the culture internally, the CEO will exhibit the utmost integrity maintaining an environment of teamwork, collaboration, transparency, accountability respect, and inclusion.

The successful candidate will have a high level of credibility and gravitas in the industry and will have equal acumen in finance and operations.  This individual will have experience in leading early-stage companies, working with public company boards, interacting with investors and analysts, and raising capital. The ideal leader will also have experience leading a mining and/or specialty chemicals company with a focus on project execution and commercialization and a proven track record of prioritizing a health, safety and environment focused culture. He/she will be resilient, with a high level of energy and the ability to work well under pressure. The selected individual will have excellent communication skills, strong organization and leadership skills and the ability to connect and engage with people at all levels both inside and outside of the organization.
