Callon Petroleum

Sr. Director of Land

Callon Petroleum Company (“Callon”) is a publicly traded, independent oil and natural gas operator focused on acquisition, exploration, and development of high-quality assets in the leading oil plays in West and South Texas. Callon entered the Permian Basin in 2009 with the acquisition of ~8,800 net acres for $16 million and grew their footprint to ~75,000 net acres in Midland and Delaware basins before their merger with Carrizo Oil & Gas.

With the merger, Callon expanded their footprint to ~200,000 net acres in the Permian and Eagleford Shale. The company operates a vast majority of the acreage and has the flexibility to modify development plans to appropriately address continuously-changing industry conditions and commodity price cycles. The organization has also proven their ability to move quickly to capitalize on opportunities to acquire new acreage and integrate into their operations, positioning them for additional consolidation of assets in the future.

Callon prides themselves on their core values: Responsibility, Integrity, Drive, Respect, and Excellence. These reflect their ideals as individuals and direct their actions as a company.

Due to recent changes in the leadership team, there is a need for an appointment of a Sr. Director of Land.
