The Manager of Projects (MOP) is responsible for a portfolio of capital projects at the Corpus Christi Refinery (CCR), and will lead, manage, and direct the work of assigned project managers, project engineers, and other support personnel. The responsibilities of the MOP include managing the day-to-day activities of the project teams, and providing the guidance, support, training, and resources necessary to ensure that the projects meet the safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives. In this position the MOP works with the PM to make sure the project is properly framed, then reviews project schedules and costs for adherence to delivery targets. MOP’s may manage projects or fill project manager vacancies as needed. Additionally, this position champions and enforces project procedures and standards. The MOP will interface with all departments in the CCR organization and may fill-in for the Manager Project Engineering as needed.
