Executive Onboarding Coaching
Executive Onboarding Coaching is provided to help ensure and accelerate the successful executive's performance and effectiveness as they join and transition into a new role, team and organization. Certified leadership coaches (PCC level) serve as mentor and guides and assist the leader in identifying and navigating factors that can help or hinder their success in their new organization, team and role, as well as help establish and execute a strategic direction.

After facilitating initial kickoff communication and meeting with the selected candidate, they will coordinate and facilitate meeting with all stakeholders - the selected candidate, their manager, HR Representative, and Merrimac Representative - to discuss and align expectations and desired outcomes of the engagement.

Between the new executive’s start date and end of month four of their transition, the coach and selected candidate will have eight (8) coaching sessions (two 90-minute sessions in the first month followed by six 60-minute sessions in months two through four).

The last coaching session will be a completion session during which progress, outcomes, and recommended next steps will be discussed. After which, the coach will meet with the selected candidate, their manager, HR representative, and Merrimac representative to collectively discuss appropriate progress, outcomes, and recommended next steps. The coach will provide relevant status updates and maintain open communication with the candidate’s manager, HR representative, and Merrimac representative throughout the engagement.

It is important to note, per International Coaching Federation (ICF) ethics, the coaching relationship between the selected candidate (the client) and the coach is confidential. The coach will hold the selected candidate’s information and the content of all coaching sessions in the strictest of confidence unless disclosure is required by law (e.g., illegal activity, risk of danger to self or others), or unless the client consents to disclosure to specific other parties in writing. The client’s name and contact information will be added to a confidentially held list for the purpose of tracking coaching hours in service of maintaining ICF credentials. The content of the sessions will neither be submitted to nor requested by ICF.
