The Role:

The Vice President, Commercial - North America leads all Sales teams across the Geozone ensuring that Account plans and sales strategies are developed and executed upon to deliver the budgeted revenue and EBITDA. The role is accountable for identifying and successfully converting strategic business opportunities through assigning suitable resources to the identified opportunities. The role is also accountable for retaining and growing the customer base and for introducing the Company’s portfolio of products and services across the customer matrix. A critical element of this roles is the responsibility to partner with the Senior Vice President of North America to drive the direction of Weatherford’s focus and strategies in the medium to longer term period. As a significant contributor to the Geozone’s strategy development and execution, the role needs to be able to plan and guide the organization in a direction and at a pace that allows Weatherford to be positioned advantageously as the market changes.

Emphasis also needs to be placed on solution selling across Product Lines where Weatherford can demonstrate differentiating value and achieve higher margins. The Vice President must focus Weatherford’s selling focus from a company perspective, encouraging Product Lines to work closer together to provide solutions for customers.
