President
Mary McIntyre is a seasoned executive search leader with over two decades of experience in talent acquisition, organizational leadership, and international business development. Mary’s career includes partner-level roles at leading international executive search firms, where she specialized in board and C-suite placements across a wide range of industries. In addition to her executive search expertise, she brings direct board-level experience, offering clients a unique perspective on governance, leadership, and strategic alignment. She has worked with organizations of all sizes, from Fortune 500 companies to high-growth startups, across North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Her global perspective and deep market insight have made her a trusted advisor to clients navigating complex leadership needs in dynamic markets. Mary is a frequent speaker at international and U.S. conferences, sharing insights on market trends and global employment dynamics. She currently serves as President of the British American Business Council (BABC) in Houston and holds advisory roles with organizations such as the GradKat Board at Sam Houston State University, the University of Houston’s Bauer School of Business, and the Polish American Chamber of Commerce in Texas. She is a member of SHRM and AESC and previously served on the board of the British American Foundation of Texas. Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sam Houston State University.

Amber Weliver is an accomplished research leader with expertise in talent sourcing, market intelligence, and research operations. As Head of Research at Merrimac International, she oversees strategy, execution, and quality assurance, applying advanced sourcing methodologies and in-depth industry analysis to support executive recruitment. Her work ensures alignment with client objectives and delivers actionable intelligence for successful placements. Amber’s previous roles at international executive firms refined her skills in candidate identification and research coordination. Her industry experience spans manufacturing, non-profit, energy, transportation, and technology, with functional expertise in R&D, engineering, finance, and supply chain. She holds a BA from Texas Wesleyan University, is certified by AESC as an executive researcher.

Lauren Vielock
Head of Executive Search
Lauren Vielock brings nearly two decades of global executive search experience, specializing in Director to Board-level placements across manufacturing, technology, non-profit, and energy sectors. As Head of Executive Search at Merrimac International, she leads high-level search assignments and has secured multiple high-value engagements through strategic client relationships. Her career includes senior consulting roles at FWB Park Brown, where she led international talent initiatives and placed executives across functions such as Finance, Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Human Resources. Lauren is known for her people-centered approach, building lasting relationships with candidates and offering personalized coaching throughout the recruitment process. She serves as an Advisor to The Honor Foundation, supporting military veterans in career transitions. Her client engagement style emphasizes transparency and partnership, making her a trusted advisor in complex hiring scenarios. Lauren is a certified Myers-Briggs Instructor, holds a BA from The University of Texas at Austin, and is active in the British American Business Council, Polish American Chamber of Commerce, and Norwegian American Chamber of Commerce.

Stuart Cochrane
Advising Consultant
Stuart joined Merrimac International in the fall of 2025 as Advising Consultant, expanding the company's presence across the UK and Europe. Stuart is an accomplished international business leader, board member, and managing consultant with a strong track record of driving growth, revenue, and operational excellence across corporate, private, and charitable enterprises. Having held senior leadership roles within the oil and gas services sector, Stuart joined Park Brown International, an established executive search firm, in 2002. After acquiring the business, he spearheaded significant domestic expansion in the UK and launched international offices in Perth (Australia), Calgary, and Houston. In 2013, Stuart led the merger of Park Brown with FWB, creating Scotland’s largest and most successful multi-sector executive search practice. Following a period of sustained growth, the company was successfully transitioned to its management team. Stuart then founded Ochter Consulting, a strategic advisory firm specializing in strategy and market development, organisational transformation, operational excellence, and leadership development. Stuart possesses deep expertise in the international energy sector, supported by extensive networks of senior executives, business leaders, and investors across global markets. He holds an HNC in Mechanical Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, and an MBA from the University of Edinburgh.
