Our Services
At Merrimac International, we are focused on not only finding the required skill set and experience of the executive for the role, but also matching cultures and motivations, and supporting the executive’s initial transition into the role via Executive Onboarding Coaching with a credentialed, professional executive coach.
Our Approach
Culture is Key

Merrimac International spends a good deal of time understanding our client’s culture before we interview potential candidates. We partner with our clients and fully understand their businesses, inside and out, becoming an extension of them to the marketplace. This allows us to identify candidates who will fit well with the company culture – or desired company culture – and better ensures longevity with the company.
As we approach potential (and passive) candidates, we take a personal approach in getting to know every candidate we speak with. We ask behavioral based questions in our candidate interviews to understand each individual’s leadership style, communication style and general working style. This ensures we identify the appropriate experiences and skill sets that a candidate possesses for the role, as well as the behavioral, communication and leadership styles that best fit our client’s culture.
Providing Diversity for Our Clients

Merrimac International is committed to providing equal opportunities for our candidates, clients, and our employees and prospective employees. We pride ourselves on equal treatment for all, regardless of race, color, ethnicity, gender, marital status, age, disability, sexual orientation, religion, or belief.
-
At Merrimac International, diversity is at the center of every assignment we deliver and constantly challenging ourselves to be more diverse in our processes to maximize the talent we can produce for our clients.
-
We also recognize that diversity is never a “one size fits all” approach and it is not about taking each diverse group and promoting them above others. It must be an individual approach to each candidate.
-
Over the past five years, our organization has made significant strides in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion across our hiring processes. In 2024, 73% of our candidate shortlists were composed of diverse individuals, with gender-diverse representation at 65%. Placement outcomes also improved, with diverse placements increasing from 25% in 2020 to 63% in 2024, and gender diverse placements rising from 17% to 54%. The data clearly illustrates a positive trajectory in your DEI efforts, highlighting a growing emphasis on inclusive hiring practices and representation.
Long Term Fit

Merrimac International is committed to the success of our clients. We partner with our clients to ensure placed candidates stay as long as possible with our clients.
